Your database isn't too old. It's just in the wrong place.
Access, FileMaker, dBase, Excel, old SQL versions, or custom-built systems where the documentation has gone missing. Conversion to a current format, hosting taken over, and the certainty that nothing gets lost along the way.

Does this sound familiar
Your provider is discontinuing the version your application runs on, and has given you a deadline.
The quote to rebuild it is a multiple of what you paid over the years.
Whoever knew the system has left. The data sits in a file almost no one can open smoothly anymore, whether that's Access, FileMaker, dBase, or something custom-built.
As long as the file is readable, the rest is just work. That's almost always the case.
What the service involves
Conversion, whatever the format — Access, FileMaker, dBase, Paradox, Excel, old MySQL or Oracle, or a custom file format. As long as it's readable, I can get it out, with records, relationships and attachments intact.
Hosting included — The application then runs with me, with back-ups. One monthly amount, no separate server bill.
New website or interface, optional — On top of the converted data, I can build a full website or a private web interface. Browsing, searching, editing — public, or for your own people only. Not required, but it's often the reason people get in touch.
How it works
I check what's in it and whether everything's readable. There's no cost attached to that.
You know what the conversion costs and what the hosting costs per month before anything starts.
You check a sample against the old system. If something's off, I adjust it.
The old system can be switched off. You get a full export of your data whenever you ask for it.
