An atelier isn't an agency. There's one workbench, and it's mine.
I'm Ilya Dierckens. I build websites in Drupal and rescue databases no one dares touch anymore.
I work alone, and that's a choice. No account manager passing on your question, no junior taking over the project the moment it's signed. You explain what you need to the person who actually builds it, and you can call that same person back in two years when something needs adjusting.
Most projects don't start with a design brief. They start with a practical problem: a website no one dares change anymore, a system built by someone who left long ago, an export that just needs to work by Friday. I like that kind of work. It's rarely about inventing something completely new, and almost always about getting something right — technically, and for whoever has to work with it afterwards.
In practice that means: a site you can manage yourself without having to call me for every small change, a quote you can justify to a board or a boss, and a solution that's still standing in five years.
I work for whoever asks: associations, sole traders, companies and institutions.
Principles
Standard techniques and ordinary Drupal patterns. No constructions only I understand.
No surprises down the line. Your monthly price stays low and fixed.
Existing content and data are usually the most valuable asset. They come along, they don't get thrown out.
